Filmmakers do in fact take full advantage of this prior to a mega release, there is always buzz about the actors’ having a soft corner for each other off screen. But, how much truth really is there to these romances? Most of them seem to last only till the film’s release, after which the love seems to go up in smoke.
One such couple is Pulkit Samrat – Yami Gautam: This Bollywood duo is currently shooting for ‘Sanam Re’ and the rumours about their increasing closeness on the sets have been never-ending. Little does everyone know, that they will be sharing screen space in two films with T-Series. So, certain closeness between them is most likely to take place.
Another couple that have set tongues wagging is Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover. They were regarded as the ‘next item couple’ in Bollywood from the time they began promoting their horror flick, ‘Alone’. But, it could be that there was some truth to the rumours as the couple is spotted together quite often and last holidayed in Maldives.
Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun Kapoor got fans excited about their supposed romance at the time of ‘Tevar’. However, looks like their so called real life love story failed to work for them onscreen and the film bombed at the Box Office.
Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt: After making their debut together in ‘Student of the Year’, these cuties were supposedly more than just good friends while shooting ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. But nothing came of these rumours with the two having continued to be friends and are going to work together in ‘Shuddhi.’
Alia Bhatt was also said to be quite close to her ‘2 States’ co-star Arjun Kapoor. Their chemistry definitely worked in their favour as crowds thronged theatres to watch them together.
