It’s a great feeling when you start developing feeling for someone, and realize that they have what it takes to be the one you might want to spend your entire life with. 1. Jimmy Shergill:
Presenting to you the head of this prestigious group- Jimmy Shergil. From ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ to ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, the man has been trying hard to get Kangana Ranaut, however fails every time. And to make things worse, he has even lost out to our very own favourite actor Uday Chopra! (‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’)..yes, all that it takes at times is being the producer’s son..Better luck in next movie, Jimmy!
2. Salman Khan:
No we aren’t speaking about bhai’s real life. We are just having a look at how he made a glorious entry in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ with the Saajan ji ghar aayesong, but all he ended up doing was making SRK Kajol’s final saajan. *sob sob*
3. Shah Rukh Khan:
And even though he is the ultimate King of Romance whose dimpled cheeks, intense eyes and romantic persona along with the signature pose can make any girl drool, there was this girl called Anna in ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na’, who preferred choosing Deepak Tijori instead! It was hard to not sympathize with SRK’s character Sunil who makes desperate attempts to get out of the friendzone but finally realizes he can never get out of it and marry the one he loves.
4. Aamir Khan:
How can the third Khan be left behind of this great achievement? He entered the 300 Crore club by getting Friendzoned! See, that’s the power of being in this not-so-amazing-zone. Anushka Sharma rejected the prospects of being the first woman to travel to a different planet with aliens, and left the adorable PK sulking and crying; and instead made the is now dating Virat Kohli. *tsk tsk* No worries PK…tumka dusri lugaai mil jaavegi!
5. Akshaye Khanna:
Rimi Sen has a knack for making the weirdest choices and leaving the most suitable guys in the Friendzone. Much before she decided to marry Tusshar Kapoor in ‘Golmaal’, she had selected another versatile and talented actor in her debut film ‘Hungama’. Yes, she went for Aftab Shivdasani leaving Akshaye Khanna with just chits in his hand to wipe the tears!
6. John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan:
Let’s just say ‘Dostana’ was based in a parallel universe where Priyanka Chopra chose Bobby Deol over the two handsome hunks John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan. The two actors and their attempts to woo her, and the final kiss to prove how much they love her, truly made us go “Awwww”.
7. Akshay Kumar:
We don’t really blame Sonakshi Sinha for chosing Imran Khan over Akshay Kumar in ‘Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobara’. We mean…who seriously delivers dialogues like “Doodh Mein Nimbu Jisne Daala….Paneer Uska!”? Well, this movie proved no matter how much money or power you have, there is one thing you just cannot buy- a girl’s love; and there is one thing you just cannot escape- The friendzone!
8. Imran Khan:
But Kareena Kapoor Khan took Akshay Kumar’s revenge by dragging Imran Khan into the friendzone. Although here is one girl who did not take advantage of the guy and rather, made his life a wonderful one, but we just couldn’t stop sympathizing with the good boy that Imran played.
9. Ajay Devgan:
Baby sitting has its disadvantages too- The Friendzone! Oh yes, in ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’, we see a divorcee and father of one (played by Ajay Devgn) flirt and try his best to woo his office assistant, the very young Shazahn Padamsee. Even though we loved how he tried his best to fit into her world and make her love him, it was a shock to see him end up being in the zone we all hate being in.
10. Emraan Hashmi:
The serial kisser can get friendzoned too. And the power to do so lies only in the hands of the gorgeous and sultry Shruti Hassan. However, at least the man had some fun before getting to know that she just considered their little moment together as friends with benefits.
11. Arjun Kapoor:
He is loved by all for his bad-boy charm. However, even playing the negative guy couldn’t save him from downing deep into the friendzone in ‘Gunday’. And guess whom did he lose the sexy Priyanka Chopra to? Surprisingly, it’s none other than his “baba” Ranveer Singh.
12. Dhanush:
If there is any man whom we loved a lot and cried for after SRK’s friendzone saga, it has to be Dhanush in ‘Raanjhana’. The man probably dedicated his entire life to just one girl- Zoya. And in return all he got was betrayal, getting used and death! Sonam Kapoor gave a reason to hate her with this film.
13. Govinda and Anil Kapoor:
Pehli baar….pehli baar Bhaijaan ko koi mili! Oh yes, while Govinda and Anil Kapoor made us all laugh with their funny antiques to impress Juhi Chawla, the bubbly actress got married to Salman Khan in the end leaving both our lead heroes with their heads down!
14. Ranbir Kapoor:
Doosri baar….doosri baar Bhaijaan ko koi mili! And this time, it was Ranbir Kapoor who lost the pretty Sonam Kapoor to Salman Khan in ‘Saawariya’. But nevertheless, Ranbir surely got his dues clear with Bhai… Courtesy- Chikni Chameli *winks*
15. Saif Ali Khan:
It’s not just Jimmy Shergill who lost to R. Madhavan, but Nawab Khan too! He had to give up his dreams of marrying Dia Mirza when he realizes that she doesn’t love him but the man he hates the most!
16. Varun Dhawan:
Even though he won the ‘Student Of The Year’ award along with many hearts, he lost the pretty Alia Bhatt to Siddharth Malhotra, and the awkwardness between the two after 20 years gap showed they weren’t even proper friends anymore!
